Marra Commons

Marra Commons, designed by Hybrid Architecture, is located on a tree-filled lot directly adjacent to Marra-Desimone Park - which hosts one of the largest urban farms in Seattle. The site was purchased by our partners at Hybrid and the project is currently in the schematic design phase.

Indoor-Outdoor Connection

A central promenade on axis with the adjacent Marra Park creates a strong connection to both nature and the neighborhood. Welcoming porches and a communal outdoor kitchen along this main path create a hub of social activity at the heart of the site.

Common House and Kitchen
The heart of the community is the common house, where residents gather to cook and share communal meals. During the day, the common house offers a flexible space for coworking with easy access to the garden courtyard.
Outdoor Dining and Garden
A central courtyard patio offers space for groups to gather and share meals, with connected terraces and stoops that foster easy and spontaneous connection with neighbors.
Shared Guest Suite
Residents can host visiting friends and family in the shared guest suite, where they can enjoy privacy and access to shared outdoor and common spaces.
Shared Parking Porch and Entrance
The entry porch greets the neighborhood beyond, and shared load-in parking spaces make it easy to bring home groceries.
